Welcome to Advanced Counseling & Resource Center. The offices are conveniently located in Jericho, New York. We work with adolescents, adults, couples and families who are looking to find emotional balance, happiness and increase personal satisfaction as well as enhancing the quality of their relationships with others.

Many clients who come into the practice are struggling to manage stress at home or in the work environment. Frequently, people are unaware that depressed or anxious feelings are embedded in traumatic ‘emotional memories’ that get triggered by everyday experiences. We are available to work with clients who might be in crisis, as well as those with chronic, long term issues. Together we will develop treatment plans that are specialized to meet your needs .Our treatment programs cover, but are not limited to the following areas:

Post Traumatic Stress
Survivors of Sexual Trauma, Violence or Abuse

I worked as a Health Educator for 36 years in public education on Long Island. Because of growing interest in the field of Mental Health I went back to earn a Master of Social Work and I have been practicing in the field since 1982. I believe passionately in the power of education and the responsibility to provide quality services and resources. I have earned the highest license of LCSW-R, which means that I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker and I am able to participate as a provider on many of the major health insurance programs.

Whether the loss of a loved one, separation/divorce, medical illness or life transitions, I recognize that everyone’s situation is unique and make every effort to understand the dynamics that are impacting on the person’s life. The goal is to deliver the highest quality of treatment that will empower the individual towards leading a healthier and happier life. Ultimately people want to create the best life they can live. My goal is to work people to help them accomplish that goal in a happy and healthy way.

Individual Therapy
Individual Therapy is tailored to meet your needs. We will help you to identify your goals and address your specific concerns.

Couples Therapy
Working with couples, our goal is to help you better understand the dynamics of your relationship and find ways to manage the issues that are causing conflict and resolve them.

Family Therapy
We work with family members to better understand family dynamics, and focus on specific issues causing conflict and stress.

Life Coach and Strategist
Coaching is a partnership that you will enter into with the purpose of helping you to establish your goals and objectives and work with you in meeting your goals. You will gain a greater level of skill to help you negotiate the challenges in your life.

Conflict Resolution
The ability to identify and resolve conflicts in a healthy way takes talent and skill. These skills are not difficult to learn. It does require a desire on the person's part to find a solution that is one that takes effort and consideration.

Staff Development
We will customize a program to meet your individual needs. Every staff is different and the dynamics that impact the staff are all components that will be addressed in working with your staff to meet your goals and objectives.

Clinical Supervision

Advanced Counseling Resources, LCSW, PLLC is available to offer Clinical Supervision to those Social Workers that have an LMSW.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker I can meet with you individually or your can be part of group supervision. The supervision does count towards meeting the requirements for your LCSW, to meet the New York State licensing guidelines.
